Seymchan Meteorite End Cut
    Pallasite - PMG
    Hekandue River, Seymchan
    Magadan District, Russia

There are not enough superlatives to describe this amazing specimen of the Seymchan Meteorite. The truly massive end piece has a polished surface which reveals the diagnostic Widmanstätten pattern on the smooth face. The "latticework" design is bordered by a solid metal, irregular band which traces the outer edge of the immense example. The opposite side features a huge natural rough mass of bubbly, silver metal Meteorite. The gigantic piece weighs some 38.5 lbs. (17.5 kg) and is certainly a collectible specimen by any standards. This one has everything anyone could want in a Meteorite with quality, size and contrast. This big example is the best of both worlds with a cut and polished surface complete with the Widmanstätten pattern and a contoured end with rolls and folds. This is a superlative example of a truly world famous Pallasitic Meteorite which would enhance any collection fortunate enough to display it.
    Overall Measurements: 9.92 x 9.06 x 5.71 inches (25.20 x 23.00 x 14.50 cm), weighs 17.46 kg (38.5 lbs.)
