A magnificent whole specimen of a "hedgehog" example of Moldavite, a rare and important variety of impactite, this superb individual represents the coveted Besednice locality which is highly desirable for collectors. Covered with a multitude of points and evidencing exceptional color as well as translucency, the piece represents the best of the unique glass formed as the result of a huge meteorite impact event. Weighing 8 grams, this offering is a nice combination of size, shape, and form - one ideal collector piece.
