Libyan Desert Glass is considered an "impactite," meaning it was created as the result of a meteoric impact with the Earth. This unique material exhibits a vitreous quality and pleasing greenish-yellow coloration. The smoothed specimen weighs 206 grams and features a flame-like shape with roughly triangular form and even some shallow "pseudo regmaglypts" adding to the aesthetics of the piece.
