NWA 11288 is a rare Martian Shergottite meteorite, distinguished by its exceptionally uncommon impact melt that includes numerous "vugs"-natural cavities, a feature which is highly unusual in meteorites. This particular sliced specimen not only showcases several such cavities but boasts a distinctive coloration and composition.
