This relatively large section of stony meteorite is a partial slice from NWA 11474. The feldspathic breccia variety is most notable for its origin - the Moon! This is a larger example of a lunar meteorite weighing a stout 31 grams. The polished slice exhibits superb gray and white clasts against its dark gray background.
