This piece of "shrapnel" from the famed Sikhote-Alin Meteorite has a unique elegance as it looks like a flame going up from both sides. The violent fragmentation and torn metal characteristic of this special variety of iron Meteorite is clearly obviously on this 87 gram specimen. The solid, gun metal grayish to brown piece is extremely aesthetic on both sides with complex detail over the entire exposed surface.
