Pieces of "shrapnel" from the famed Sikhote-Alin Meteorite which exploded over Siberia, Russia in 1947 to the shock of the numerous people who witnessed the event show evidence of torn metal and violent fragmentation associated with the bolide explosion. This leafy specimen has a flame-like shape and a lot of character with a severely imprinted surface. It only weights 81 grams, but it is major for a small piece.
