Entirely captivating in appearance and history, this small slice from outer space, weighing 7.09 grams, exhibits opaque, golden Olivine crystals naturally occurring in a silvery Nickel-Iron matrix. Originally discovered in 1967 in Russia, this meteorite has captivated scientists and collectors for years. In the center of the specimen is an area of texture that does not match the rest of the meteorite and may represent a space where a crystal precipitated out and was replaced. This is a quintessential and rare pallasite meteorite in beautiful condition.
