    Description

    Seymchan Meteorite Slice
    Pallasite, PMG
    Magadanskaya Oblast, Russia - (62° 54'N, 152° 26'E)
    Found: June 1967
    0.98 x 1.02 x 0.09 inches (2.49 x 2.58 x 0.23 cm)

This tiny chip of pallasitic meteorite may only weigh a scant 7 grams but features relatively large crystals of golden Olivine throughout its metallic core. The smallish example of Seymchan from Russia is a rather delightful specimen for its size and really showcases the crystalline aspect of the pallasite in a giant way.
