    Description

    Muonionalusta Meteorite Pen
    Iron, IVA
    Northern Sweden - (67° 48'N, 23° 6'E)
    Found: 1906

This ballpoint pen has been crafted out of a piece of the Muonionalusta Meteorite, which was discovered in Sweden in 1906. This particular meteorite is one of the most appealing as it exhibits a very pronounced Widmanstätten crisscross pattern. The meteorite pen showcases an outstanding design, and the pattern is highlighted after the meteorite has been etched with acid then Rhodium plated. This writing instrument was handcrafted in Germany with a single milled cylinder of meteorite. The tip and clip are made of stainless steel. This pen is in excellent condition and is an elegant writing tool for any "out of this world" wordsmith. The pen is accompanied by a leather holder and a felt fabric case.
    Overall Measurements: 4.85 x 0.56 x 0.45 inches (12.32 x 1.41 x 1.14 cm)

Note: Lot does not include meteorite.
