Description
Muonionalusta Meteorite PendantIron, IVA
Norrbottens, Sweden - (67° 48'N, 23° 6'E)
Found: 1906
0.84 x 0.72 x 0.11 inches (2.13 x 1.83 x 0.29 cm)
This triangular pendant features a polished slice of the Muonionalusta Meteorite, framed in gleaming metal to highlight its natural geometric patterning. The intersecting lines of the Widmanstätten structure-unique to Iron meteorites-reveal a crystalline pattern formed as molten metal cooled slowly in space over billions of years. Found in northern Sweden and first discovered in 1906, Muonionalusta remains one of the oldest known meteorites on Earth. Each piece showcases a distinct arrangement of metallic latticework, ensuring no two are ever alike. A striking and meaningful gift, this pendant offers a tangible connection to the cosmos.
Estimate: $200 - up.
