A truly magnificent representation of the Arctic Muonionalusta Meteorite from Sweden, this Iron is huge, with a robust weight of 13.8 kilograms (30.4 pounds). The enormous metallic specimen, probably part of the oldest known meteorite fall, has an incredible striated texture indicative of crystallization. The entire exterior surface of this nearly football-sized piece is covered in a geometric patterning that makes such a fabulous example all the more impressive. This is a monstrous meteorite of an iconic variety with superb visual aesthetics. The huge rock from space measures nearly 9 inches (22.9 cm) across. A rich steely-gray brownish coloration is consistent over the entire metallic form, which seems stable for Muonionalusta.
Measurements: 8.66 x 5.91 x 5.91 inches (22.00 x 15.00 x 15.00 cm), weighs 13.8 kilograms (30.4 pounds)
