Muonionalsuta Meteorite Slice
Northern Sweden - (67° 48'N, 23° 6'E)
This thin slab of Muonionalusta Meteorite seems a bit more solid
than expected, and the piece is a rustic example of an etched
slice. The narrow Widmanstätten pattern is pronounced on both sides
of the quite textural specimen. This offering weighs 175 grams, and
each face could be the primary for display as this slab is complex
and appealing on both sides. The Muonionalusta was first discovered
in Sweden in 1906.
Overall Measurements: 5.29 x 4.93 x 0.07 inches (13.44 x 12.52 x
0.18 cm), weighs 175 grams
[Scale: 1 inch, with mark at 1 cm]
