This exquisite piece of shrapnel of Henbury Meteorite was actually acquired by Geoff Notkin through a trade with the Royal Ontario Museum. Weighing 63 grams, the offering boasts an interior with reddish desert patina and an exterior with brown fusion crust. Sharp edges are visible on the specimen, which makes this piece even more visually compelling. A 'temporary and field card' accompanies this offering, with "Mineralogy Dept., Royal Ontario Museum" at the top, which has been partially filled in by hand.
Measurements: 2.32 x 1.42 x 0.63 inches (5.89 x 3.60 x 1.61 cm), weighs 62.5 grams
