A truly towering example of the iconic Gibeon Iron Meteorite from Namibia, this offering stands as a naturally, sculptural representation rising over 9 inches (23 cm) tall when oriented vertically. With a serious weight of 9 kilograms (19.8 pounds), this piece "looks, feels, and displays" like what an Iron meteorite should. Highly textural, extremely heavy, and wonderfully formed, with many regmaglypt craters covering the majority of the dimensional exterior, this specimen makes a major statement, and the combination of shape, form, coloration, and stability results in one simply superb Gibeon on all counts. A dull, brownish hue gives the metallic mass from space further visual appeal along with a connection to its exotic origin. This is fundamentally one ideal and compelling large Gibeon. This needs to be seen and held to fully be appreciated as photos, even videos, cannot do it justice.
