This small meteorite cube of Gibeon material features six equal square faces with subtle Widmanstätten patterning. The metallic block is solid and robust, weighing just shy of 300 grams. As Gibeon is a popular Iron octahedrite, the appearance of the Widmanstätten pattern via etching is to be expected, especially with a "worked" piece of the space rock. The simplicity of this offering really makes it so very intriguing, and a finished cube can go anywhere and be a fit. This little metal cube represents a lot of space history.
