Any specimen of the famous Sikhote-Alin iron octahedrite Meteorite that fell over the Siberia region of Russia in 1947 is something special. This fine example weighing 264 grams is a piece of "shrapnel" from the iconic Meteorite that is composed of sharp-edged pieces of torn metal which has literally captured the violent fragmentation that occurred when the massive bolide exploded and made the strewn field.
