Weighing 185 grams, this solid example of the iron octahedrite
meteorite known as the Sikhote-Alin is a complete individual with a
complicated and crenelated surface. This famous meteorite exploded
over a remote region of Siberia in 1947 and was the most widely
witnessed fall up to that time in all recorded history. This
metallic gray specimen features multiple faces with numerous
