Extremely large, boasting a weight of 33.5 kilograms (74 pounds), this monstrous space rock is big but is also superlative in terms of quality. Regmaglypts cover the highly textural surface of the huge meteorite, and hints of secondary, underlying reddish patina add a degree of contrast to the dimensional specimen. An exquisite example of Campo del Cielo from Argentina, the massive offering is impactful and strikingly decorative on top of representing unusually stable and very collectible material out of the renowned fall that likely occurred in prehistoric times but was only, at least officially, found several hundred years ago. Every side and angle offers the viewer different and appealing glimpses of the naturally artistic form with a wonderful texture, a nice coloration, and an immense size. Shape and form combine for an ideal piece.
