Signed to lower right corner in weave: EDMUND DULAC, 1915
Inscribed to lower left corner in weave: TISSE PAR LEO BELMONTE PRO PAUL LEDERLIN.
LITERATURE:
International Studio, vol. 62, New York, 1917, p. 159 (similar example illustrated).
Condition Report*:
Tapestry in overall fine condition; some overall fading and discoloration to dyed fibers as expected. Several minor areas of old repairs, most visibly to lower right corner. Scattered areas of discoloration; largest approximately 2 x 3 inches to lower border. Wooden stabilizing rods to top and bottom of reverse.
