50 Years of Sendak: The Museum Tour Collection
The Horn Book Magazine has been a significant force in the world of children's literature since 1924 and has come to be considered a thought leader in the field. It's no surprise that the magazine collaborated several times with Maurice Sendak. One of the most cherished images from this partnership is the present work featuring an artist with easel surrounded by famous literature characters including Moishe from Where the Wild Things Are. The completed illustration was published as the cover of The Horn Book magazine for a full year and again as a limited edition poster.
