The present work is published as an interior book plate for chapter II "What We Saw from the Ruined House" on page 217 of War of the Worlds- Book II: The Earth Under the Martians by H.G Wells (1906).

scattered foxing and faint small spots of discoloration observed throughout. tiny vestiges of old adhesive around paper edge; Pinholes observed to each corner. Wear and markings to margins of page in keeping with illustration and publishing process.
