PROPERTY FROM A DALLAS COLLECTION

19th century gilt bronze figures by French sculptor Eugene Laurent depict the Allegory of Fall with a young Hercules laboring in the wheat fields at harvest time and skating carefree in winter. They are mounted on ebonized wood bases and fitted with brass lamp parts, complete with pleated silk shades trimmed in metallic braid, topped by acorn finials.
