This fine tabletop has been cut from a single large piece of 400 million year old fossiliferous marble from the abundant deposits of Morocco. Featuring creatures from the Devonian oceans of the region it is a gorgeous swirl of tans, grays and browns, dotted with the ghostly remains of Orthoceras shells and Agoniatites ammonites, dramatically striking with the wavy white lining to their inner chambers. Cut into an elongated oval form, this beautiful piece of "natural" furniture measures 39 3/8 x 23 5/8 inches.
