AMMONITE TABLETOP

This stunning fossil tabletop has a beautiful chambered Ammonite as its central focus. Most of this 12-sided piece displays mineral replacement predominantly emphasizing the rich, golden Calcite. The tabletop exhibits an overall pattern of swirling imagery of what appears as golden flames dancing around pockets of deep gray. The 13.5 inch (34.29 cm) Ammonite in the center of the piece displays beautifully preserved chambers with a yellow Calcite replacement and the thick border of rock frames this fossil nicely. The tabletop measures 27.5 inches (69.85 cm) in diameter and is reinforced by a wooden backing on the bottom side. This would be ideal for an end table.
