The centerpiece of this elegant little table is a fine shallow amethyst geode boasting a dense carpet of good blocky crystals, boasting a fine deep purple coloring. The crystals protrude above the sliced and hand-polished edge of the geode denoting an unusually painstaking craftsmanship. This conjunction of artisanal and natural beauty is framed by three curved walnut supports from an oval base, and viewed through a large oval glass top 37 7/8 x 28 inches; at 16 inches high it is a practical, unusual and above all beautiful furnishing piece.
