    UNIQUE "STAINED GLASS" OVAL LAMPS WITH AMMONITE FOSSILS: A UNIQUE PAIR OF LAMPS

    Extinct marine invertebrates can jazz up any room - so how about a lot of them? This breathtaking pair of lamps features the always intriguing Ammonite fossil. These extinct creatures have been cut in half to expose all their chambers and growth patterns. Each Ammonite has distinctive coloring ranging from tan to dark brown, which can be seen in great detail due to the careful polishing of each specimen. 60 Ammonites have been precisely positioned alongside sections of opalescent glass to create each of these stunning accent pieces. By marrying these two materials together, these amazing decorative utilitarian pieces were produced - the Ammonites can be seen in excellent detail especially when the lamp is fully lit. These intricate lampshades are positioned on a polished wooden base and both lamps are in excellent condition. Any fossil aficionado would love this set to shed some light on the past.
