DescriptionCube Light on Stand
This functional and beautiful lamp has been fashioned from stable Calcite material from Mexico. It was selected due to its subtle, yet intriguing greenish-yellow hue. Natural banding is visible in this carbonate material created by ancient marine life deposits which were laid down over millions of years ago. The ancient marine life is now bands of varying color, mostly whites and browns. When lit, this lamp is even more beautiful. The brown bands appear as "lightning strikes" across the yellow-green glowing Calcite. The cubic lamp is in excellent condition and sits atop a separate polished brown wood base. This accent piece is the perfect way to display Mother Nature's art in any space, both as it is and when it is turned on.
