This large carved sphere of Quartz contains striking Hematite inclusions, which create bold reddish-orange patterns suspended within the crystal layers of subtle banding, and translucent zones create depth, giving the piece a luminous, almost glowing quality. Hematite's Iron-rich tones contrast dramatically against the transparency of the Quartz, producing an effect at once beautiful and unsettling. With its rich coloration, and commanding size, the specimen makes a statement both as a decorative object and as a collector's piece.
