DescriptionPetrifed Oak Sphere
Miocene, Dechutes River
1.97 inches (5.00 cm) in diameter
Some Petrified Wood looks like modern-day wood, and the material can be made into various items of beauty and function. This little sphere is made from ancient Oak and exhibits wonderful circular waves of dark and light brown as well as white covering the entirety of the spectacularly polished little sphere. This is a very nice example of Petrified Wood of any kind, and this example is an amazing accent piece.
