A much larger piece of raw "gem" Dinosaur Bone was required initially to end up with this sizable sphere measuring some 5.5 inches (14 cm) in diameter. This highly decorative sphere exhibits fine trabecular cell structure which is deep in the fossilized material. Haunting grays, merlot reds, light purples, chestnut browns and white patches of glistening Quartz all combine to make this round ball attractive and appealing. Quality "gem" bone is a rare commodity, and this orb is something special.
