"Chocolate" Opal Egg

Ethiopian Opals are fairly new to the gem and mineral markets. This expertly carved Opal egg has been cut and polished to highlight the natural "fire" of the material. The carved egg lights up with strong flashes of green, red, blue and orange when viewed. Due to the incredibly dark brown "chocolate" hue, the play-of-color is intensified. These Opals formed as the result of volcanic conditions rather than by running water. This is an incredible offering of unique and popular material.
