    YELLOW QUARTZ HUMMINGBIRD COUPLE on HEMATITE with RUTILE BASE
    Artist: Peter Müller

    While simply looking at this piece, one can almost hear the sound of these little yellow Quartz Hummingbirds flapping their wings at an incredible rate. Before moving on to their next flower, they stopped on this stunning specimen of Hematite and Rutile, which lies on top of a polished block of Quartz. Once again, artisan Peter Müller has created an exceptional piece of work. There is incredible detail in the elegant long Carnelian beaks and Garnet eyes. The male on top measures 3.25 inches (8.25 cm) in height with a 3.75 inch (9.52 cm) wingspan. His female companion near the base measures 2.75 inches (6.98 cm) in height and has a wingspan of 3 inches (7.61 cm). Both have gold plated sterling silver feet. The striking Hematite, Rutile and Quartz base measures 2.87 x 2.5 x 4.25 inches (7.28 x 6.34 x 10.79 cm). One must wonder how long they can stare at these amazing creatures before they just fly away!
    Overall Measurements: 5.5 x 5.5 x 6.0 inches (13.97 x 13.97 x 15.24 cm)
