    Description

    Tiger's-Eye Tabletop
    Mt. Brockman Station
    Pilbara
    Western Australia

This striking tabletop is hard to miss. The material used to create this tabletop came from the remote Australian region known as the Pilbara. This region is recognized as having some of the oldest rock formations on Earth. This ancient material has been cut in such a way as to highlight the bold gold chatoyant band running down the middle. The gold band contrasts beautifully against rich red Hematite and black bands of Magnetite - the characteristic components and colors of classic Tiger's-Eye from Australia. There are also bold areas of green Riebeckite and Goethite, mixed together with accents of pure yellow Goethite over the smooth surface. This tabletop is a convenient 23 inches (58.42 cm) in diameter and has a beautiful polish, making it a pristine treasure from Down Under.
    Overall Measurements: 23.00 x 1.00 inches (58.42 x 2.54 cm)

[Scale: 1 inch, with mark at 1 cm]
