DescriptionTIGER IRON SLAB
13.58 x 9.84 x 0.39 inches (34.5 x 25 x 1 cm)
Tiger Iron, not to be confused with Tiger's Eye - a chatoyant gemstone usually a metamorphic rock with specific characteristics - is an altered rock composed primarily of the aforementioned Tiger's Eye, black Hematite, and red Jasper. Undulating bands of contrasting color and luster result in such material being well-suited for ornamental uses as well as making jewelry. Primarily mined in South Africa and Western Australia which produced this superb polished freeform of colorful golden-yellow, red, and black bands.
