    Artist: Luis Alberto Quispe
    Stone Source: Tanzania & Brazil

This remarkable sculpture depicts two Ruby Hummingbirds in great detail. The male Hummingbird hovers over his charming companion while they touch bills in a loving manner. Both birds are morphologically accurate with long gold vermeil bills and detailed bodies carved out of exquisite dark Ruby. They are carefully perched on an intricately designed pedestal base, the top of which is a well-polished Rose Quartz "egg" supported by an intricately carved Ruby cylinder covered with flowers. Then that sits atop a Rose Quartz sphere which rests on a Quartz crystal bowl, and all of that sits on a green Ruby and Zoisite base. All of this creates the illusion of a gemstone fountain. This colorful sculpture is secured with 18 Karat gold vermeil fittings to provide additional richness and contrast. The male Hummingbird measures 2.32 inches (5.89 cm) in height and has a 3.38 inch (8.58 cm) wingspan. The stationary female companion measures 3 inches (7.62 cm).
    Overall Measurements: 8.0 x 5.31 x 12.0 inches (20.32 x 13.49 x 30.48 cm)
