    Polished Chrysocolla
    Bagdad Copper Mine, Yavapai County, Arizona

    This well prepared, cut and polished freeform shaped Chrysocolla is visually captivating. The cyan color is created by a mix of the Copper Hydroxide; Spertiniite and Chalcedony. The black veins are caused by Tenorite and this piece is sprinkled with patches of green Malachite. The Bagdad Copper Mine, where this gorgeous piece comes from, has an open pit mining schedule that currently runs on an around-the-clock. However, pieces like this are hard to come by - there isn't that much of this high grade ore available. The sculpture is in pristine condition.
    Overall Measurements: 9.0 x 6.0 x 4.1 inches (22.9 x 15.2 x 10.5 cm)
