Description

    Polished Chrysocolla and Malachite
    Katanga Copper Crescent
    Katanga (Shaba)
    Democratic Republic of Congo (Zaïre)

This sizable plate features a stunning blend of turquoise blue Chrysocolla and dark, green Malachite. Not surprisingly, this eye-catching Copper carbonate hails from the famous Katanga Copper Crescent in Africa. The primary display face features a nice polish and exhibits charming "bulls-eye" patterns as well as swirling patches of intertwining Chrysocolla and Malachite that creates a well harmonized decorative piece. With every glance, there is always something new to notice on the bold association. Of interest, the underside has retained a natural "rough" state. Overall, the piece is in great condition.
    Overall Measurements: 8.07 x 7.28 x 1.38 inches (20.50 x 18.50 x 3.50 cm)
