This gorgeous pair of bookends has been crafted out of solid Native Copper from the iconic Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan. The decorative offering features two large pieces of dense golden Copper with an organic flame-like shape. The set exhibits a nice patina with natural green oxidation and a mirror-like finish. Each bookend weighs about 23 pounds (10.4 kilograms), displays interesting natural cratering, and has been sealed for longevity. Both faces have been cut, but the primary display face exhibits a high polish. The bottom of each piece is finished with a cork bottom. These are sure to make a statement on any bookshelf and are sturdy enough to hold many works of classical literature.
