This one-of-a-kind offering is a hand-crafted Damascus-style blade with a custom handle. The blade has been meticulously hewn out of a piece of Muonionalusta Meteorite, with the handle made of cut and polished Woolly Mammoth Tusk. The meteorite blade measures 7.28 inches (18.5 cm) and displays the prized Widmanstätten pattern - the crisscross design associated with Iron meteorites. The pattern is located near the spine to support the longevity of the blade. The cutting edge has been created with mosaic Damascus steel. The two distinct types of steel used to create this pattern were 1084 and 15n20, which were then acid-dipped to corrode the Carbon to create the pattern. The blade has been further constructed in a San Mai fashion, allowing the meteorite to be forge-welded to a piece of tool steel, creating a durable and long-lasting edge and full tang. The intricate blade, pommel, and fittings also feature inlaid pieces of 24 karat Gold. The handle displays a "rustic" brown Woolly Mammoth Tusk from Alaska, which has been carved and fitted into a handle. Another added surprise of this knife is a rounded Opal gemstone from Ethiopia that has been incorporated into the butt of the handle. This amazing knife is accompanied by a handmade metal stand, also inlaid with 24 karat Gold. This is an incredible one-of-a-kind artisan knife presented in a unique manner.
