This massive free-form sculpture of Lapis lazuli weighs over an impressive 5.5 lbs. (2.5 kg) and has a nice layering to its unique edging which feature peppered bands of Pyrite flecking. The over smooth polished specimen is a rich regal blue with subtle hints of visible patterning. Lapis has been used and valued since ancient times. The characteristic bluish coloration, obviously, makes this "rock" with Lazurite so coveted.
