Chrysoprase Hummingbird Couple on Albite with Tourmaline Base
    Artist: Peter Müller
    Stone Source: Australia & Brazil

These two loving hummingbirds have been delicately carved out of vibrant green Chrysoprase from Australia; a rather exceptional stone not commonly found in carvings. Their beaks are made out of Carnelian, they have Garnet eyes, and gold plated sterling silver feet, all of which are anatomically proportionate. They both sit atop an Albite base from Brazil measuring 4.3 x 1.2 x 3.1 inches (11 x 3 x 8 cm). The top hummingbird has a wingspan of 2.8 inches (7 cm) and is about to take flight, while the other hummingbird, measuring 3.1 x 1.0 inches (8 x 2.5 cm), appears to be gazing off into the distance. Despite one tiny chip on the Lucite base, this piece is in excellent condition.
    Overall Measurements: 5.3 x 2.4 x 6.3 inches (13.5 x 6.0 x 16.0 cm)
