Description

    Blue Calcite Bowl
    Andes Mountains
    Argentina
    South America

This piece is not only exquisite which is obvious, but it is also versatile and practical. Carved out of rich blue Calcite from regions high in the Andes Mountains in Argentina, it is an ideal size for most any flat surface, countertop or table. The bowl has been expertly carved and polished to showcase not only the saturated ocean blue of the Calcite but also the natural brown Limonite veins which give the material a beautiful contrasting pattern. Flowing with an organic shape, the deep bowl is ideal as either an accent piece or utilitarian item. The cavernous irregular shaped somewhat oblong bowl is completely polished over its entirety and translucent allowing light to pass through it wonderfully. When lit up properly, the bowl actually "glows" with a variety of enchanting blue hues offset by veins of white Calcite. This sizable decorative statement piece is in excellent condition and worthy of inclusion in any room and will match almost any d├ęcor.
