This bowl is truly remarkable and needs to be viewed in person to get the depth of its intense coloration. Sure to be a statement piece in any room, this captivating bowl has been cut and polished from a large piece of banded Fluorite. The bowl has been fashioned in such a way as to accentuate the natural banding of this stunning material. Cubic color banding is evident with distinct sections of super gemmy green, purple and blue Fluorite. The bowl is further accented with stark white and earth toned veins. When backlit, the bowl truly pops with color and glows due to the stone's transparency. This piece features an organic shape complementing the natural material from which it was made. The rim has been left unpolished allowing an insight into the rock's habit, and there is a rugged crenelated aspect to the top. The basin measures approximately 6 inches (15.24 cm) in depth, and the base has been cut flat for stability and easy installation. This decorative piece is not only utilitarian but also very attractive.
