Last Chance Mine
5.63 x 4.13 x 4.25 inches (14.30 x 10.50 x 10.80 cm)
This unique wedge of heavy, banded material is a chunk of "Sowbelly" Agate from the Amethyst Vein of the Commodore Mine in Creede, Colorado. Only cut but not polished, the mineral exhibits bands of light purple and white over several faces. The exterior is naturally rough and frames the classic pattern nicely.
