The prized material used to create this striking box is known for its strong chatoyancy. The material has been cut and polished in such a way as to highlight the fantastic "cat's-eye" visual aspect. Created by needle-like inclusions, light is reflected off the surface of the stone to create an optical effect. This material will delight any viewer with its contrasting bands of rich earthy hues and pronounced chatoyancy. The large decorative box has been crafted by an expert lapidary to get the most out of the stone. The thick sections of rich yellow and gold Tiger's-Eye have been perfectly matched to achieve the best result and all sides of this box feature book-matching precision. The inside and bottom are lined with black felt and finished with a Gold-plated brass hinge. The masterpiece is in perfect condition and will add the ideal finishing touch to any room.
