A refined and richly detailed decorative box, crafted from premium Malachite sourced from the renowned deposits of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The lid is assembled from expertly matched sections of polished Malachite, showcasing the mineral's signature concentric banding and rich green coloration. A smoothly hinged piano lid opens to reveal an interior lined with plush crushed green velvet, adding a touch of elegance and protection for its contents. An oval cabochon of Malachite serves as the thumbpiece, harmonizing with the overall design. The box is elevated on four finely cast lion's paw feet in gilded metal, with a matching metal plate reinforcing the underside. A luxurious fusion of ornamental design and natural mineral beauty.
