This square decorative box was handcrafted by expert lapidary artist Konstantin Libman. Great care and skill went into making this world-class offering, featuring a book-matched lid with matching sides. The incredibly vibrant blue hue comes from the semi-precious Lapis stone. Lapis is a highly prized material for its rich and saturated blue color. The coloration of this material is so strong that it is hard for it to be captured in color gamut by a camera. This stunning box must really be viewed in person to accurately absorb the richness of the blue hue. The Lapis is further accentuated with striking linear "streaks" of golden Pyrite and stark white Calcite, adding contrast to the rich blue offering. This artistic box is in pristine condition, with the artist's serial number "0656" on the bottom. The interior is lined with Spanish Cedar, finished with Gold-plated brass hinges and comes with a velvet lined protective wooden outer box.
