Condition Report*:
Presents well overall, with light surface wear and minor irregularities consistent with the artist’s handmade process and gentle use. Small areas of verdigris visible to the lettering and interior. Moderate rubbing to the gilding, most notably at the pin finial. The pin and safety chain jump ring are possibly later replacements. The safety chain is attached through a small drill hole at the upper edge, the hole possibly a later modification.
