The present work will be included in an upcoming monograph on the artist., to be published by The Artist Book Foundation in 2017: Walter Tandy Murch: Paintings and Drawings, 1925-1967.
There appears to be craquelure throughout and frame wear along the edges, with scattered flakes of loss; there appears to be possible surface grime throughout, with a possible inconsistency to the surface layer; under UV light, there appear to be scattered spots of inpaint, notably along the edges, as well as in the lower left quadrant.
